TYTAN Foam Cleaner

The TYTAN Foam Cleaner is designed to remove uncured polyurethane foam. It attaches to most applicator guns. The included spray nozzle removes uncured foam from the outside of dispensing guns, helping extend the life of the tool.

The cleaner can be used on most building materials and some fabrics, but it may cause discolouration or leave residue. It is not harmful to skin in small amounts; however, it should only be used as a last resort when gloves are not worn.

Wearing work clothing, gloves and eye protection is recommended. Use only in a well-ventilated area or with approved respiratory equipment.

Removing Uncured Foam

• Shake the can well before use.
• Do not use the can in a horizontal position.
• Insert the spray nozzle directly onto the valve stem at the top centre of the can.
• Point the arrow toward the surface to be cleaned and slowly press the actuator to spray the cleaner.
• On delicate surfaces or fabrics, test first on an inconspicuous area.

Cleaning the Applicator Gun

• Use only TYTAN universal cleaner in well-ventilated areas or with approved respiratory equipment.
• Shake the can well before spraying or before attaching it to the gun.
• Using the spray nozzle, remove uncured foam from the tip of the gun nozzle by spraying into a waste bin or onto disposable material.
• Remove the empty foam can from the gun and spray cleaner on all uncured foam on the outside of the gun.
• Screw the TYTAN universal cleaner can firmly onto the applicator gun.
• Pointing the nozzle into a waste bin or onto disposable material, pull the trigger to run cleaner through the gun and flush uncured foam from the barrel.
• Leave the TYTAN universal cleaner can screwed onto the gun.
• Tighten the adjustment knob on the gun handle to keep air out of the barrel.
• Air in the barrel for more than 2 to 3 minutes reduces the gun's effectiveness and service life.
