MasonCare 300 is a pre-mixed, pre-bagged Type O mortar specifically designed for use in repointing applications. This mixture is composed of Portland cement, Type S hydrated lime, controlled-particle sand, and other carefully selected components. MasonCare 300 conforms to ASTM C270 for Type O mortar, with the addition of water. This product is gray in color, but can also be factory colored.

• Do not use MasonCare 300 when an N or S mortar is specified. In these cases, KING 1-1-6 or KING 2-1-9 is recommended. • The temperature of the application surface and mortar should be between 5°C (40°F) and 38°C (100°F) and maintained within this range for 72 hours after application.
• Never add additives on site that are intended to modify the setting time, workability or any other property of the plastic or hardened mortar.
• Use only the recommended amount of water to obtain the desired plastic or hardened mortar properties.
