MasonCare 300 is a pre-mixed, pre-bagged Type O mortar specially designed for repointing work. This mix is composed of Portland cement, Type S hydrated lime, graded sand and other carefully selected components. MasonCare 300 meets ASTM C270 for Type O mortar with the addition of water. This product is grey but can also be factory-coloured.

• Do not use MasonCare 300 when a Type N or S mortar is specified. In these cases, KING 1-1-6 or KING 2-1-9 is recommended • The temperature of the application surface and of the mortar should be between 5 °C (40 °F) and 38 °C (100 °F) and maintained within this range for 72 hours after application
• Never add admixtures on site intended to modify the setting time, workability or any other property of the plastic or hardened mortar
• Use only the recommended amount of water to obtain the desired plastic or hardened mortar properties
