In masonry cavity walls, collecting mortar droppings above flashing and weep hole levels is essential for good performance. MortarNet protects masonry against moisture damage by preventing mortar droppings from blocking the weeps. Its 90% open mesh lets moisture drain toward the openings and lets air move through the cavity to promote drying.
Through air circulation, the system equalizes pressure for better drying. The mesh is covered with a membrane that keeps insects from settling in. The product components are also compressible to accommodate variations in cavity width.
